The pair of orbs in her hands radiate as she draws them together, where they meld into a single pitch black sphere that seems almost vulgar in Nureya's delicate hands. Slowly, she extends her arms toward _______, offering the orb, 'If you wish to continue your task, return this Orb of Night and the Black Orb of the Arcane to Vitratul. The latter can be found in the depths of Sebilis. My aid to you, Derresh, and he, ends here.'

: Tirapulin V'Thex says, 'The Hateblade is a weapon forged by Innoruuk himself, the Prince of Hate, to inspire hatred within his foes. Innoruuk knew that anger was teh strongest of all emotions and caused his opponents to think brashly and make grave mistakes, ultimately costing them their lives on the battlefield.'

Vitratul K`Reil raises his chin ever so slightly as he clasps one of the black orbs into each of his hands. His azure eyes roll back into his skull as he utters an eerie chant. The pair of orbs pulse and radiate brilliantly in a blinding aura of unholy energies, their pulse in perfect tempo to the pounding of the necromancer's voice. As Vitratul's chant grows louder and swifter, he joins the orbs together, melding them into one solid, round object. When the chanting ceases, the necromancer returns his gaze to you and offers the strange pulsating shield. 'This is the reward for your discipline and the answer to your questions about true power.'


The second shard, [[a metallic shard]], is dropped by [[kobold noble]] in [[Nagafen's Lair]]
